O2 Germany, Telefónica’s commercial brand that provides fixed, mobile and internet services, began working with CamOnApp to incorporate augmented reality in the customer service area and to carry out marketing and branding activities.
The first experience was made for Blau‘s user network and consisted in converting the brochure containing a new customer’s sim card comes into a step by step augmented reality experience. By scanning the card, a tutorial is displayed with instructions on how to install and activate the sim card. The aim is to make the procedure easier for users, reduce queries and support time spent by the customer service team and, thereby, position Blau as an innovative brand when it comes to communication.
