Unicenter incorporated an Augmented Reality scanner into its own application to carry out a Christmas campaign at the mall. The mall already had its own active App which it uses to share information, news and current promotions with customers. By integrating the CamOnApp SDK, they were able to combine their digital channel with physical spaces creating interactive experiences with their users.
Areas that were under renovation were identified, and because they were areas of high circulation, it created the opportunity to communicate and capture the campaign with high visibility. Posters and graphic media were placed in these spaces, and when scanned with a smartphone, Christmas themed augmented reality experiences opened, complete with elves, bears and goblins.
In addition to taking photos and sharing them on social networks, Unicenter app users could participate to win big prizes by enrolling in daily draws that highlighted the tactics.
