At CamOn, we partnered with O2 to revamp their Web-Browser AR solution, evolving it into a new Virtual Try-On platform. This experience is designed to streamline the user journey, allowing customers to try products in Augmented Reality before making a purchase.

The project featured a comprehensive rebranding of the previous solution, the integration of new tracking technologies, and a deep optimization of the user experience (UX/UI) to make it more intuitive, engaging, and aligned with O2’s current brand positioning.

The platform allows users to discover and test products in AR seamlessly from any compatible device:

Explore a virtual product catalog in Augmented Reality directly from your browser.

Try on phones, watches, tablets, and accessories in real time, viewing them on yourself or in your own surroundings.

Visualize products at true-to-scale size and integrate them into your physical space to understand dimensions, design, and fit before buying.

The technology behind AR Try-On

The solution integrates advanced AR tracking technologies that allow users to try on products directly on their bodies in real time:

  • Face Tracking to place glasses and wearables on the user’s face.
  • Ear Tracking for precise placement of headphones on the ears.
  • Hand Tracking to visualize smartwatches on the wrist.
  • World Tracking AR to display smartphones at true-to-scale size within the user’s environment.
