Ford launched the new Mustang GT Performance in LATAM, celebrating the 60th anniversary of its iconic pony car. To amplify this unique launch, Ford and VML joined forces to create an innovative marketing campaign developed by CamOn XR.
To generate awareness of the new Ford Mustang GT Performance, we launched a fully immersive Web 360 Orbital and Augmented Reality experience. Users accessed the experience by scanning a QR code from the official website. Once inside, they entered a digital, orbital environment that allowed them to explore the car from multiple angles and perspectives, orbiting around the vehicle.
Users could interact with both the exterior and interior of the car, changing its color, opening and closing its doors, turning the lights on and off, and even modifying the contexts in which the Mustang GT Performance was displayed. Additionally, they could access the car in Augmented Reality, positioning it in real-world environments and interacting with all its features.
As an extra bonus, users exploring the experience gained access to exclusive information provided by Ford, offering in-depth details about the new Mustang GT Performance. An amazing immersive experience.
The campaign’s primary objectives included positioning the new model and generating awareness while giving users the opportunity to explore and learn about Ford’s latest launch through immersive technologies.
