Billboard magazine included augmented reality content in their Lollapalooza 2019 edition to surprise their readers.

The cover star of the special pocket edition was artist Kendrick Lamar. By scanning the cover, consumers opened an interactive experience and accessed exclusive material and event information.

The emblematic robots of Lollapalooza’s brand were recreated in 3D and by pointing at any flat surface, they could be positioned to appear in pictures and videos which were shared on social networks.
