Conaprole incorporated to kids’ dessert packaging an augmented reality experiences to surprise their customers.

In May, the Uruguayan dairy cooperative Conaprole launched an innovative version of their flavored puddings. This time, they decided to offer users the chance to interact with characters of the brand. CamOnApp together with the agency specialized in packaging design Tridimage carried out this development that made the packaging come to life.

How does it work?

Using CamOnApp, available for free at Apple Store and Google Play, you can scan the packaging’s of Conaprole dairy products to discover the interactive experiences. In the same way that a photo is taken, you have to point with the phone to the product and that’s it!

Using the latest technologies ARkit/ARcore, our team created in 3D the new characters of the brand that could be placed by users on any flat surface to record videos or take photos for social media sharing.

This is an action emerges from the strategic alliance of CamOnApp and Tridimage that, since last year, joined forces with the aim of taking traditional packaging further. One of their success cases was for the Argentine company Ilolay, that incorporated augmented reality in the milk packs. In this way, they approach consumers with an novel format to communicate product characteristics and nutritional properties.

Opening innovative communication channels gives a differential to brands that not only boosts sales, but also builds customer loyalty.
